Humorist produces and hosts English stand-up comedy shows in Amsterdam and The Hague. Featuring stellar comedians from all over the world, Humorist shows are always in English, always geared towards richly diverse audiences of internationals – whether based in the Netherlands or visiting.
The English comedy scene in the Netherlands is expanding at a rapid pace. With comedians from all corners of our definitely-round-globe flocking to the major cities to perform, we’re witnessing a palpable development of a richly layered, diverse, and international comedy scene.

TOBACCO Theater
Located on the Nes in the ‘theater district’ of Amsterdam, TOBACCO Theater is equal parts beautiful and historic.
We’re excited that TOBACCO Theater is the home base for Smokin’ Goose Comedy Room, a stand-up comedy show that invokes the spirit of 1940s New York City comedy clubs. Hosted by Rogier Bak, the show features a stellar line up of international stand-up comedians ready to serve up a fantastic night of comedy in the very heart of Amsterdam!
Located in the ground floor of the stunning Hotel Indigo in The Hague (and right across from Palace Noordeinde, just a light flex, no big deal) is
The Vault, home to our Comedy Gold show.
Located in the former actual bank vault of the Dutch Central Bank, this is a comedy room unlike any you’ve ever seen before. Literally, tell us about another comedy show in a bank vault – we’ll wait.
